Renegade Gold Inc., a company with 1,542 km² of mineral claims in the Red Lake Mining District of northwestern Ontario, has announced high-grade mineralization and visible gold at its 100%-owned Belanger project, approximately 71 km east of Red Lake, Ontario. This discovery is part of the company's 2026 Confederation field program, which also includes exploration at the BobJo project and the LP-Uchi corridor.
According to the company, the new high-grade channel sample results from the Belanger project include 25.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 0.3 meters, 12.5 g/t gold over 0.5 meters, and 20.2 g/t gold over 0.3 meters. These results extend the known gold-bearing zone more than 60 meters to the east, where the structure remains open in both directions. The company's mapping efforts have confirmed multiple zones of mineralization along the main trend, suggesting a broader system throughout the area.
In addition to the channel samples, regional grab samples returned values of 3.6 g/t gold, 2.6 g/t gold, 2.3 g/t gold, and 1.4 g/t gold. These results confirm two zones of mineralization and add two new zones, further illustrating the potential of the system. Additional mineralized grabs up to 0.5 g/t gold over 2.8 kilometers of on-strike structure further support the company's findings.
The company also completed a regional till and soil survey over the LP-Uchi corridor, which included 884 soil and till samples. The first-pass surface till and soil sampling program is now complete, and results are pending. A 21-day inaugural program of mapping, prospecting, and soil sampling at the BobJo project is also complete, with 220 channel and grab samples collected. Results from both programs are pending.
Dale Ginn, the Executive Chair and director of Renegade Gold Inc., commented on the significance of these findings.
The company plans to integrate the results from the greenfields exploration program across Belanger, BobJo, and the LP-Uchi corridor field programs with the historic dataset. These results will be interpreted through the fall, with the intention of advancing priority targets toward drill-readiness as part of the company's planned 2026 exploration drilling program across the Confederation Belt.
Renegade Gold Inc. trades on the TSX Venture Exchange (RAGE), the OTCQB (RENGF), and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (0700). The company is advancing its flagship Rebel Gold Deposit while building a greenfield discovery pipeline across the Confederation Belt, Gullrock, and Red Lake project areas.
