Remergify Launches CrewVerify for Construction Site Compliance

Remergify, a technology company based in New Jersey, has launched a new product called CrewVerify, designed to transform construction site check-ins into tamper-proof compliance records. The platform, available now at checkinsites.com, addresses a persistent challenge faced by construction employers: proving the presence of workers on job sites, when, and for how long.

CrewVerify allows construction crews to check in to job sites using their smartphones via a text code and GPS verification, eliminating the need for hardware installations such as kiosks or badges. Each check-in is recorded in a tamper-proof log, providing a robust record for payroll, insurance, and regulatory compliance. According to Stuart Fine, founder and CEO of Remergify, "Every check-in becomes proof for payroll, for your insurer, for OSHA. The hardest part of compliance is trusting the underlying data, and that's exactly what we verify."

The product offers several features to enhance compliance and safety. OSHA 301 incident reports are automatically populated when an incident is logged, including details of the workers present, their arrival time, and the duration of their presence at the time of the incident. CrewVerify also includes credential-gated check-in, allowing contractors to require specific credentials such as OSHA-10 or fall-protection certification. Workers without the required credentials are warned or prevented from checking in before entering the site.

Fine elaborated on the benefits of the new platform: "CrewVerify provides a reliable presence log that insurers and inspectors can trust. Attendance data is GPS-verified, ensuring that the records cannot be manipulated after the fact."

Pricing for CrewVerify starts at $29 per month plus $4 per worker. The Pro plan, which includes the compliance features, is available during an early-access period. Unlike other construction time-tracking tools, CrewVerify does not require hardware purchases or on-site installations, streamlining the process for contractors.

Remergify is positioning CrewVerify as the first of several vertical software products it plans to bring to market. The company builds focused tools for specific industries on a shared technology foundation, with additional products in development across other sectors.
