Denver, September 1, 2026 – REMAX, the world’s largest real estate franchise network, has announced the appointment of Alex Vidal as its new President. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, Vidal brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the role, following his tenure as the first Hispanic President of ERA Real Estate.

“Alex’s deep understanding of the real estate market and his proven track record of driving success for agents and Broker/Owners make him an ideal fit for this position,” said Tamir Poleg, Chairman and CEO of Real REMAX Group. “His experience and drive are essential as we continue to grow and innovate within the industry.”

Vidal’s journey in real estate began at a young age, when he started working as a secretary to the president of Keyes Real Estate at the age of 19. Over the years, he has held numerous key positions, including Recruiting Director, Sales Manager, Sales Coach, and Sales Executive at leading firms such as Coldwell Banker Realty, ERA Real Estate, Prudential Real Estate, and Keyes. His passion for developing real estate professionals led him to create TheCloserClub in 2004, a coaching program that has since supported over 30,000 real estate professionals.

“I’ve spent my career supporting agents and Broker/Owners, helping them reach their full potential,” Vidal stated. “I am excited to bring that experience to REMAX, work alongside the REMAX community, and ensure all our efforts are focused on helping them achieve their best year yet.”

As President of REMAX, Vidal will lead the global brand and work closely with the network of over 145,000 agents in nearly 8,500 offices across more than 120 countries. His responsibilities include driving growth in all regions, developing services for Broker/Owners and agents, and shaping the long-term strategic vision of the brand. He will report directly to Tamir Poleg, Chairman and CEO of Real REMAX Group.

Vidal’s appointment comes after the August 24 closing of the transaction that created Real REMAX Group. He joins other recently named leaders, including Jenna Rozenblat, Real REMAX Group President, and Amy Somerville, Real REMAX Group Chief Operating Officer.

“REMAX has a powerful story to share, and I am committed to ensuring that story resonates with our network and beyond,” Vidal said. “With the addition of technology to our robust network, we have the potential to revolutionize how real estate is done. I am excited to remind the industry of the value REMAX brings.”

REMAX, founded in 1973 by Dave and Gail Liniger, is known for its innovative, entrepreneurial culture, which empowers agents and franchisees to operate with independence. The company has been recognized as the world’s largest real estate franchise network by residential transaction sides. Through its agents, REMAX has raised millions of dollars annually for Children’s Miracle Network® and other charities.

With Vidal at the helm, REMAX aims to continue its growth and innovation, leveraging the strengths of its global network and the latest technological advancements to serve its agents and clients more effectively.
