AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 18, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Regentis Biomaterials Ltd., a regenerative medicine company focused on innovative tissue repair solutions, has announced the release of the latest episode of The BioMedWire Podcast. The episode features Dr. Ehud Geller, the Executive Chairman and CEO of Regentis Biomaterials Ltd. (NYSE American: RGNT), discussing the company’s lead product, GelrinC®, and its broader regenerative medicine platform.

Geller provided an overview of Regentis’ regenerative medicine platform and its lead product, GelrinC®, which is being developed to treat cartilage injuries in the knee. “In our particular case, we have a platform from which we can develop a variety of applications. Currently, our lead product is called GelrinC®. Gelrin is the platform, and C stands for cartilage, and we are specifically focused on treating cartilage injuries to the knee. We are already approved for marketing in Europe, and we are in the midst of our clinical trial, the pivotal trial which will get us permission from the FDA to start marketing in the U.S.”

The company is targeting a significant market opportunity. “We believe that there are two layers to that market. The very obvious one: a patient comes to the doctor suffering from pain in his knee, and he would probably have one of three potential pathologies,” Geller said. “The major one, covering more than 50% of the cases, is ours. The total U.S. market annually is 470,000 cases a year, and that is the size of the market currently untreated.”

Regentis Biomaterials is prioritizing its U.S. pivotal study and European commercialization strategy. “We’re in the midst of that study, and our team is right now opening more sites for a clinical study in the U.S. to speed up the enrollment, which we hope to finish by approximately the end of the year. Another thing that we’re doing is working quite actively on commercialization. We have approval in Europe, so we are permitted already to market and sell in Europe. Following our IPO, we started activities toward that. We are in discussion with a number of distribution systems and/or strategic major orthopedic companies in Europe.”

Geller also highlighted the company’s priorities for the remainder of 2026. “The message we bring to the market is one of a short, 10-minute procedure with two weeks of recovery, and I must say we've put in front of us durability as a slogan for the company. We need to treat patients in a way that will hold for a long time,” he said.
