Realizing Your Potential TV Network, founded by Dr. Jacqueline Kaba-Harrison, has reached a significant milestone two years after its launch. The streaming network, dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black women in leadership, has grown into a robust platform with original programming, a diverse lineup of shows, and a global audience.
Kaba-Harrison, a visionary leader in the field of women's empowerment, established RYP TV with the goal of providing a permanent stage for Black women leaders. "I built this network because I watched brilliant Black women leaders carry decades of wisdom with nowhere to put it," Kaba-Harrison said. "Two years later, RYP TV is proof that when you build the stage, the leaders show up."
From its inception, RYP TV has been centered around the principles of resilience, purpose, and power. The network offers a variety of content, including docuseries, roundtable conversations, and original programming, all designed to move viewers from potential to power. According to Kaba-Harrison, RYP TV exists to give leadership development for Black women a permanent, global home.
One of the network's flagship programs is the docuseries "Born to Lead: Natural Born Leaders," which features in-depth conversations with leaders across corporate America, entrepreneurship, coaching, and faith leadership. Season 2 is currently in production and is expected to expand the series' reach even further, with new guest leaders and new categories of content. "Born to Lead is not a highlight reel," Kaba-Harrison explained. "It is the truth about what leadership actually costs and what it gives back. Season 3 is going to go deeper than ever."
To support its mission, RYP TV has also launched an expansion of its show host program. The network is inviting coaches, consultants, executives, and community leaders, particularly Black women with ten to twenty or more years of leadership experience, to build their own shows and series on the platform. This initiative is part of RYP TV's "Your Voice, One Stage, Your Legacy" campaign, which aims to amplify the voices of experienced leaders who have navigated leadership challenges in various industries.
Looking ahead, RYP TV plans to continue growing its show host roster, expand its docuseries and original programming slate, and deepen its distribution reach. The long-term goal is to become the leading streaming destination for Black women in leadership worldwide. "There are generations of gifted, talented Black women who have navigated leadership challenges in corporate America, in business, and in life," Kaba-Harrison noted. "Their voice is the curriculum the next generation needs. That is what this next chapter of RYP TV is about."
With a growing lineup of shows and a dedicated mission, Realizing Your Potential TV Network is poised to make a significant impact on the landscape of leadership programming for Black women. Through its commitment to providing a permanent stage, RYP TV continues to support and inspire a new generation of leaders.
