BRAMPTON, Ontario, Sept. 03, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Real Atlantic Superstore is launching a significant price reduction program that will benefit thousands of customers across its network, aiming to help families save an estimated $300 annually on their grocery and household purchases.

Starting September 3, the retail giant is slashing prices on over 4,000 products, ranging from fresh produce and meat to pantry staples and health and beauty essentials. Shoppers can easily spot the new lower prices by looking for "New Lower Price" signs in store aisles and on product shelves.

Jonathan Carroll, Senior Vice President of Superstore Operations at Loblaw Companies Limited, emphasized that the price reductions are part of the company's commitment to offering more value to customers. "We know families are seeking better value from their grocery shop, and these lower prices are designed to deliver that," he stated.

The price cuts encompass a wide array of frequently purchased items, including chicken breasts, frozen vegetables, and household essentials. Specific examples include: - Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, club size, now priced at $15.23 per kg ($6.91 per pound) - No Name frozen green peas, 2kg, reduced to $6.97 - Larsen Wieners, 375g, now $7.27 - Kraft Peanut Butter, 750g-1 kg, at $5.97 - Hellman’s Mayonnaise, 710-890mL, for $6.47 - Children’s Tylenol Cold & Cough, 24-100mL, priced at $10.48 - Old Spice Pure Sport Antiperspirant, 73-85g, at $4.97 - Garnier Fructis, 1L, now $10.26

Carroll noted that the new lower prices are designed to help customers save on a variety of weekly shopping needs, from meal ingredients to school lunches and pantry staples.

The price reductions do not come at the expense of the store's broad product assortment or customer service. "We’re maintaining our commitment to offering a wide range of products, excellent service, and everything customers need for their weekly shop," said Carroll.

In addition to the price drops, Real Atlantic Superstore continues to offer other savings options, such as weekly flyer promotions, personalized PC Optimum offers, and the "Hit of the Month" program.

According to the company, the estimated annual savings of $300 are based on average purchases by a family of four of products with newly lowered prices, compared to their previous shelf prices. Actual savings may vary depending on individual household shopping habits and product selections.
