PADERBORN, NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN, GERMANY, October 6, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Raynet Inc., a software company specializing in IT asset visibility and management, has entered a new phase of growth with the acquisition of a majority stake by Main Capital Partners. This strategic move positions Raynet to accelerate its international expansion and enhance its product offerings, particularly in the areas of AI innovation and cybersecurity.
Main Capital Partners, a software investor managing private equity funds with assets under management totaling approximately EUR 12.0 billion, has chosen Raynet as its next growth partner. The company, which operates in the Benelux, DACH, France, the Nordics, the UK, and North America, has over 20 years of experience in strengthening software companies and works closely with management teams to achieve profitable growth and larger international software groups.
Raynet One, the central platform for trusted IT asset data, is set to become a cornerstone of Raynet's strategy. The platform aims to provide data organizations can trust and that partners can build on to develop their own solutions, services, and business models. This initiative is particularly timely given the increasing cyber risks, regulatory demands, and the growing complexity of IT environments. As artificial intelligence depends on reliable data, Raynet's vision of complete visibility across all technologies and assets is becoming a business-critical requirement for effective IT management and cybersecurity.
The company has already built a strong foundation, including a powerful technology platform, international enterprise customers, strategic technology and service partnerships, and recognition from leading analyst firms such as Gartner and Forrester. With Main Capital Partners, Raynet plans to significantly expand its international market presence, accelerate the development of AI capabilities within Raynet One, and build additional cybersecurity capabilities. Another key priority is to give organizations across Europe greater control, transparency, and independence within their software and technology ecosystems.
Selective acquisitions will further accelerate this strategy by adding new technologies and capabilities and providing access to additional markets. The goal is not to create a loosely connected collection of products or companies but to establish Raynet One as the central, unifying hub for trusted IT asset data and True IT Asset Visibility across the entire technology lifecycle.
The transaction also includes the existing investor PINOVA, which is selling its stake in Raynet. With Main Capital Partners, Raynet is gaining more than a new owner, it is gaining a partner with the experience, international reach, and investment capacity to turn a strong vision into global market impact. Main Capital Partners has more than 105 employees operating out of its offices in The Hague, Düsseldorf, Stockholm, Antwerp, Paris, London, and an affiliate office in Boston. The underlying portfolio employs approximately 15,000 employees and maintains an active portfolio of over 55 software companies.
The existing management team is also investing again in Raynet, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the company. Together with Main Capital Partners, the team will help shape Raynet's next phase of growth and drive the execution of its ambitious strategy. Raynet's employees will continue to share in the company's success, with participants in Raynet's existing employee participation program receiving payouts as part of the transaction. At the same time, Raynet and Main Capital Partners have already jointly designed and developed a new participation program, giving employees the opportunity to continue participating in Raynet's long-term success and future value creation throughout the company's next phase of growth.
