Ramp Metals Inc., a grassroots exploration company based in British Columbia, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming eligible for electronic clearing and settlement in the United States through the Depository Trust Company (DTC). This development is expected to enhance the liquidity and trading efficiency of the company’s shares, which are currently quoted on the OTCID tier of OTC Markets under the symbol "RMPMF."
According to Garrett Smith, the Vice President of Exploration at Ramp Metals, this DTC eligibility is a crucial step that will streamline the trading process and make it more accessible for a broader range of investors.
In addition to the DTC eligibility, Ramp Metals has also completed the settlement of various outstanding accounts payable totaling $57,227.43 through the issuance of 204,383 common shares of the company at a deemed price of $0.28 per share. This move is part of the company's ongoing efforts to manage its financial obligations and improve its operational efficiency.
The company is currently focused on building a temporary exploration camp on Keith Lake in northern Saskatchewan. The camp, contracted to be built by JP Enterprises out of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, will serve as a base of operations for all future exploration programs on the Rottenstone SW claim package. The fully permitted camp is designed to accommodate up to 25 persons and is expected to be completed by the end of September.
Brett Williams, the Vice President of Operations and Senior Geologist at Ramp Metals, expressed optimism about the new camp's potential impact on the company's exploration efforts.
Ramp Metals Inc. is currently conducting a spring 2026 drill program and is awaiting lab results for the Redridge, Runway, and Ranger targets. The company's focus remains on its flagship Rottenstone SW property, which includes a high-grade gold discovery of 73.55 g/t Au over 7.5m and a new Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag VMS discovery. The Rottenstone SW property spans 32,689 hectares and is situated in the Rottenstone Domain.
With these recent developments, Ramp Metals Inc. is well-positioned to advance its exploration activities and potentially uncover new mineral deposits. The company's commitment to exploration and its strategic moves to enhance liquidity and operational efficiency are key indicators of its dedication to growth and success in the mining sector.
