FUKUOKA, JAPAN, October 2, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- RAMEN TECH 2026, a five-day co-creation innovation week, is set to open on October 7 in Fukuoka, Japan. The event, which runs until October 11, is expected to attract more than 15,000 participants, including over 1,200 from overseas. This marks a significant expansion from the 2025 edition, which saw around 70 events and 12,000 participants.

Fukuoka, declared a Startup City in 2012, has established itself as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. Since then, the city has grown an ecosystem that connects startups, investors, large companies, universities, and government. RAMEN TECH 2026 aims to widen this circle to include engineers, creators, and artists, providing a platform for cross-sector and cross-border collaboration.

The event will take place across Fukuoka's Tenjin, Daimyo, and Hakata districts. More than 100 events will be co-created with over 140 partners, including 33 ramen partners, 13 coworking partners, and media partners. The program will unfold across the city, with 17 official partner venues hosting Link Events and 13 coworking partners open to registered participants during the week. Some facilities will charge fees.

A free matching platform and 20+ networking events are designed to facilitate connections among participants. The opening party on October 7 will be held at Tenjin Business Center II, and the RAMEN TECH Global Summit will gather startups, investors, and ecosystem builders from around the world on October 8. The week will also feature a variety of themed events, including cross-border pitch and business-matching programs with partners from Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.

RAMEN TECH 2026 follows the decentralized, city-wide format common to startup weeks around the world, bringing it to Japan's most startup-friendly city. In 2015, Fukuoka became the first municipality in Japan to issue a startup visa for foreign entrepreneurs. The city itself will serve as the venue, with the program expanding quickly to include a diverse range of activities and themes.

Participants can register for the event on the official platform, EntryTickets, and search for others by country, region, and sector. The week is designed to help international visitors meet the right people, with a focus on building lasting connections. The event will conclude with the 4th ISEE Asia: International Symposium on Entrepreneurship Education in Asia on October 10 and 11.
