Rally and ATPL Partner to Expand Team-Based Pickleball Leagues

Rally and the American Team Pickleball League (ATPL) have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding standardized, team-based pickleball leagues across the United States. The collaboration leverages Rally’s advanced league management software, used by several of the largest pickleball leagues in North America, with ATPL’s fast-growing national network of affiliates.

ATPL, a leading organization in the team-based pickleball scene, has built a robust network of local affiliates across the country. These affiliates benefit from a proven format, a structured competitive pathway, and access to the ATPL National Championship. Rally, which acquired Pickleballscores in July 2026, brings modern technology, extensive marketing capabilities, and financial resources to support ATPL’s expansion.

"ATPL has spent years developing the infrastructure, format, and community that make team pickleball successful at the local level. Rally’s team pickleball app will help us scale this model nationally," stated Ross Freedman, Founder and CEO of Rally. As part of the partnership, Rally will serve as the title sponsor for the ATPL National Championship, scheduled for November 5-8, 2026, at Pictona at Holly Hill in Holly Hill, Florida. Rally’s platform will be standardized across ATPL’s network, providing a unified structure for leagues, ratings, and championship pathways.

Pickleball has experienced explosive growth, with 24.3 million players in the United States in 2025, according to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association. Despite this growth, team-based league play remains fragmented, lacking a standardized format and a clear national pathway. ATPL was founded to address this gap, offering local affiliates a proven competitive format and a clear path from community play to a national championship.
