Ra’anana, Israel, Rail Vision Ltd., an Israeli technology company developing AI-integrated sensing systems for railway safety, has been selected for a key testing program by MxV Rail, a subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads. This selection marks a significant advancement in the real-world evaluation of Rail Vision’s AI-powered perception technology for Class I railroads in the North American freight industry.

The testing program, part of MxV Rail's locomotive sensor pre-integration initiative, aims to support the development of Restricted Speed Enforcement (RSE) capabilities, a crucial step toward increased automation in the rail industry. RSE, which supplements traditional manual monitoring with automated perception, is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing safety and operational efficiency.

Rail Vision was initially included in the Technology Roadmap Program by MxV Rail in December 2024, marking the company's entry into the broader technological framework. This new phase of testing will transition Rail Vision from theoretical groundwork to practical evaluation, providing the company with an opportunity to demonstrate the performance and capabilities of its technology in real-world rail operating environments.

David BenDavid, Chief Executive Officer of Rail Vision, stated, "Being selected for MxV Rail’s testing program is a significant milestone for Rail Vision. This evaluation places our advanced perception technology directly in front of the industry's primary decision-makers, allowing us to showcase its performance and capabilities in real-world scenarios."

BenDavid further emphasized, "We believe this testing will reinforce our position at the forefront of next-generation rail safety and automation. As Class I operators increasingly leverage technology to improve operating efficiency and safety, we are well positioned to support this transition and help define the performance standards for the next generation of rail safety."

Rail Vision's technology employs advanced AI-integrated sensing systems to enhance safety, improve operational efficiency, and support continuity across deployments. The company's cloud-based platform transforms railway operational data into actionable insights, further supporting its mission to transform railway safety.

The selection of Rail Vision for this testing program underscores the company's commitment to innovation and its potential to contribute to the evolving industry requirements and standards. As North American operators move toward RSE and broader automation, Rail Vision is poised to play a critical role in setting the performance standards for next-generation rail safety.
