Rail Vision Renames Mainline and Switchyard Solutions

Rail Vision, an Israeli technology company, has unveiled new branding for its mainline and switchyard solutions, renaming them TrackScout and YardFlow Flex, respectively. The rebranding aims to better align the company's offerings with their specific operational environments.

TrackScout, the updated name for the company's long-range AI perception system for mainline freight and passenger rail networks, features multi-spectral electro-optical sensors and proprietary deep learning algorithms. It can detect and classify hazards in real time at an extended visual range of up to 2,000 meters (1.2 miles). This system provides critical reaction time to prevent incidents, maximize uptime, and maintain continuous operations, even under challenging weather and visibility conditions. Key capabilities include anomaly detection for unclassified hazards and industry-first switch-state detection, delivering clear real-time visual and acoustic alerts. The modular structure of TrackScout allows for quick and simple retrofitting across diverse locomotive fleets.

YardFlow Flex, the updated name for the company's AI-powered perception system for freight and industrial yards, detects on-track and near-track hazards at distances of up to 200 meters (650 feet), including poor weather and low visibility. The system includes switch-state detection, anomaly detection, and sideswipe detection for rolling stock past the foul line. Designed with a robust, modular design, YardFlow Flex is suitable for seamless installation across various switching fleets.

Both TrackScout and YardFlow Flex are complemented by Rail Vision’s operational intelligence platform, which uses big data analytics, real-time tracking, and continuous event recording to deliver actionable insights that maximize safety and efficiency across the entire fleet.
