Rail Vision Launches YardFlow for Enhanced Railyard Safety and Efficiency

Rail Vision, an Israeli technology company, has launched YardFlow™, its latest artificial intelligence (AI) perception solution designed for industrial and freight railyard operations. The new product aims to enhance safety and operational efficiency in diverse railyard environments.
According to the company, YardFlow brings Rail Vision’s advanced AI-integrated sensing systems to a broader range of rail operations. The solution is designed to detect on-track or near-track hazards at distances of up to 200 meters (650 feet) and provides real-time alerts to help operators prevent incidents and maintain continuous switching operations.
David BenDavid, Chief Executive Officer of Rail Vision, stated, "YardFlow was developed based on years of extensive experience and valuable customer feedback, mainly from our ongoing collaboration with Railserve, a Marmon Rail company. We believe these insights are helping us set a new standard for the market."
The YardFlow solution is powered by high-sensitivity electro-optical vision sensors and proprietary deep-learning algorithms. Its compact, modular structure enables simple installation across switching locomotives and railcar movers in freight and industrial rail operations. Additionally, YardFlow includes built-in video recording and analytics, providing actionable operational insights.
Rail Vision’s YardFlow complements its existing YardFlow Flex™ (formerly ShuntingYard), which remains available as a specialized multi-spectral option for special railyard applications and use cases requiring enhanced performance in harsh weather and low-visibility conditions. This dual-solution approach allows customers to choose the product that best fits their specific operational needs.
The launch of YardFlow is part of Rail Vision’s ongoing efforts to expand its commercial collaboration with Railserve. In 2024, the two companies entered into a commercialization agreement for the deployment of AI-based railyard systems. In May 2026, they signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore additional deployments, railcar mover applications, broader railyard solutions, and other commercial opportunities.
