HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Sept. 18, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned prime contractor founded in 1999 and headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, has announced a significant leadership change at its wholly owned subsidiary, Verus Research. Effective October 1, 2026, Daniel O. Treibel, currently the Chief Operating Officer, will be appointed as the company's first President.
Treibel, who joined Verus Research in 2014, has held various key positions within the organization. He has served as a systems engineer, technical director, senior director, and, since October 2021, Chief Operating Officer. His extensive experience and leadership skills are expected to guide Verus Research through its next stage of innovation and growth.
The appointment comes at a crucial time for Verus Research, as its current CEO, Grady L. Patterson IV, is called to overseas duty with the South Carolina Air National Guard, where he will serve as a squadron commander in support of U.S. operations. Patterson will remain CEO during his approximately six-month deployment, with Treibel providing leadership and continuity in his new role as president. Following his deployment, Patterson will return to an enterprise-level role at Radiance.
Bill Bailey, CEO of Radiance Technologies, expressed pride in supporting Patterson's service and looking forward to bringing his leadership and experience to Radiance when he returns.
