CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Questor Technology Inc. announced the resignation of Aly Sumar from the position of Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. During the transition period, the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors will oversee the financial operations while the company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.

Sumar has been a key figure in the company's financial management since 2018. Her departure comes as the company continues to focus on its clean air technologies and expansion into new markets, including landfill biogas, syngas, and waste engine exhaust.

Founded in 1994, Questor Technology Inc. is an environmental emissions reduction technology company based in Canada. The company specializes in designing, manufacturing, and servicing high-efficiency clean combustion systems that destroy harmful pollutants, including methane, hydrogen sulfide gas, volatile organic hydrocarbons, hazardous air pollutants, and BTEX gases. Questor’s technologies are certified to achieve 99.99 percent efficiency, as per its ISO 14034 certification.

In addition to its core clean combustion systems, Questor has developed proprietary heat-to-power generation technology. The company is currently targeting new markets, including landfill biogas, syngas, waste engine exhaust, geothermal, solar, cement plant waste heat, and a wide variety of oil and gas projects. The combination of Questor’s clean combustion and power generation technologies is designed to help clients achieve net-zero emission targets at minimal cost.

The company’s interim President and CEO, Mike Lindsay, stated, "We are committed to maintaining our financial stability and growth during this transition. The Audit Committee will provide the necessary oversight to ensure a smooth transition and continued progress in our mission to improve air quality and support sustainable energy solutions."

The search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer is expected to be completed in the near future, with the company planning to announce the new hire shortly.
