Quantum X Labs Inc, a company focused on developing quantum technologies, has announced the appointment of Yossi Cohen as President of its Scientific Advisory Board. Cohen, a former Director of the Mossad and a strategic advisor to SoftBank, brings extensive experience in national security and technology investments to the role.

Cohen's background includes a 38-year career in intelligence and national security, during which he oversaw significant covert operations and played a key role in the Abraham Accords. Since leaving public service, he has worked with SoftBank, focusing on investments in artificial intelligence infrastructure and semiconductors. His appointment to the Scientific Advisory Board is aimed at aligning Quantum X Labs' scientific program with strategic, commercial, and security realities.

Quantum X Labs is developing a range of quantum technologies, including a neutral-atom quantum computing platform, AI-driven quantum error-correction architecture, and quantum-based gyroscope chip technology for highly precise navigation. The company's portfolio also includes initiatives in quantum cybersecurity, nuclear simulations, and life sciences. Cohen will work alongside existing Scientific Advisory Board members, including Prof. Oren Kurland of the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and Prof. Oren Raz of the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Yossi Cohen, President of the Scientific Advisory Board, stated, "I am honored to chair the Scientific Advisory Board. After evaluating several companies across the deep-tech and quantum technology landscape, I chose to join Quantum X Labs because I found a rare combination of exceptional human capital and significant technological potential. My years in senior leadership roles, including at the Mossad, taught me to recognize the unique combination of people, technology, and vision needed to create meaningful impact. I see that combination at Quantum X Labs."

Quantum X Labs Co-Chief Executive Officer Yaki Baranes commented, "There are very few people who have operated at the heart of national security systems at the highest level and then moved into the inner circle of one of the world's most important technology investors. That combination is rare. We did not appoint Yossi Cohen to be an honorary name on our letterhead. We appointed him because Quantum X Labs is developing a range of unique capabilities that will be tested in the real world, not only in the laboratory."

Cohen's appointment is particularly relevant to Quantum X Labs' development trajectory in hardware and infrastructure. SoftBank's broader strategy includes large-scale AI computing, data center capacity, and exposure to the semiconductor sector, including through the group's historical holding in Arm, one of the world's leading semiconductor intellectual property companies. This strategic alignment is expected to enhance Quantum X Labs' efforts in quantum sensing chips, high-performance computing, and next-generation secure infrastructure.

The Scientific Advisory Board provides strategic scientific guidance, reviews and validates the Company's technological direction, and helps align Quantum X Labs' roadmap with developments in quantum science, engineering, and dual-use applications. As President of the Board, Cohen will help prioritize applications in defense and critical infrastructure, advance international partnerships, and translate the Company's intellectual property into government and operational programs and commercial channels.

Quantum X Labs Inc is focused on quantum technology, digital advertising, and computing and enterprise artificial intelligence solutions. Its subsidiaries are involved in developing and promoting quantum algorithms for transportation, drug discovery, and security segments, as well as developing quantum-based GPS replacement and quantum atom accuracy solutions.
