Quantum Critical Metals Launches Advanced Mineral Mapping Program in Québec

Quantum Critical Metals Corp., focused on unlocking North American gallium and rubidium from mica, has launched an advanced mineral mapping program at its wholly owned Discovery Property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Québec. The initiative aims to identify the mineral hosts of critical minerals, including gallium, rubidium, and cesium, and guide future metallurgical studies.
The program, initiated by Quantum, will use nine historical samples collected by the company in 2018. These samples, taken from drill core and surface material, will be analyzed using laser-based mineral mapping techniques by Elemission Inc. of Montreal. The detailed mineral and element maps will show the concentration and location of critical metals and the minerals associated with them. GMY Consulting Inc. will interpret the results to provide comprehensive metal deportment data.
The findings from the mineral mapping program will assist Quantum in focusing future exploration and project development. The company will use the information to guide metallurgical work, including mineral separation methods such as gravity separation, sizing, sorting, or flotation. By understanding the mineralogy and metal deportment, Quantum can more efficiently evaluate processing routes.
At the company's annual general meeting held on September 14, 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia, all resolutions were passed. Shareholders present in person or represented by proxy held an aggregate of 19,316,373 common shares, representing 16.11% of the 119,897,875 common shares issued and outstanding as of the August 10, 2026, record date. All four nominees listed in the management information circular were elected as directors. Charlton & Company was reappointed as the company’s auditor for the 2026 fiscal year, and the company’s 10% rolling stock option plan was reapproved.
