Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) is set to showcase a groundbreaking integrated quantum security platform at the ECOC Exhibition 2026, which takes place from September 21 to 23 at FYCMA in Málaga, Spain. The company will present its first live demonstration of an integrated quantum security solution that combines quantum encryption and authentication on a single platform, alongside quantum key distribution (QKD) and advanced instrumentation for secure optical communications.
QCi’s entanglement-based quantum security platform aims to address the challenges associated with traditional QKD systems, such as scalability, operational complexity, infrastructure cost, and dependence on classical authentication methods. The company’s solution, which will be showcased at Booth #1436, brings together quantum key distribution with hardware-based Quantum Identity Authentication (QIA), demonstrating how quantum technologies can secure the exchange of encryption keys and establish trusted identities between communicating parties.
The integrated platform combines high-dimensional quantum key distribution, direct entanglement verification, QIA, and integrated key management in a telecom-compatible architecture. This technology enables quantum authentication and verification of private information without requiring the information to be shared, addressing security vulnerabilities beyond encryption alone.
At the ECOC Exhibition, QCi will also highlight its flexible Quantum Instrumentation & Metrology, a highly adaptable platform for quantum measurement, characterization, and system development. This platform is designed to help researchers, developers, and engineers understand, test, and validate quantum technologies and concepts, supporting next-generation quantum applications and transitioning laboratory concepts toward practical systems.
In addition to the live demonstrations, QCi will showcase its advanced photonics components, which are critical building blocks for next-generation quantum and optical communications systems. The company’s vertically integrated approach to photonics technology and manufacturing underscores its commitment to delivering accessible, scalable, and cost-effective quantum machines, photonics products, and advanced packaging.
