SYDNEY, Oct. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Quantifind, a leader in AI-native Risk Intelligence for financial crime and national security, has established its first Asia-Pacific office in Sydney, marking a significant expansion into the region. This move follows the company's $200 million growth investment, which was led by Summit Partners and included participation from Citi Ventures, S&P Global, Deloitte, and Stephens Group. The investment identified Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas as strategic priorities.
The Sydney office will serve as a hub for supporting financial institutions across Australia and as a platform for broader Asia-Pacific growth. Qing Liu, who has been appointed as the General Manager for the Asia-Pacific region, brings extensive experience in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF), know your customer (KYC), sanctions screening, and Australian regulatory frameworks. Liu previously served as the Asia-Pacific Head of Solution Specialists and Industry Practice Leads at Moody's, and she was named Compliance Leader of the Year at the 2024 Women in Banking and Finance Awards.
To support the growing demand for modern financial crime intelligence, Quantifind has also appointed Stephen Ngo as Head of Solution Delivery and Elizabeth Luu as Senior Customer Success Manager. The Sydney office will leverage Quantifind's global technology to provide tailored solutions for the specific regulatory, market, and customer contexts of the Asia-Pacific region.
Financial institutions across the Asia-Pacific region are modernizing their financial crime operations to meet increased regulatory scrutiny, which includes sanctions evasion, scams, mule networks, cross-border payments, customer due diligence, and complex ownership structures. However, these institutions face a significant operational challenge: the volume and complexity of risk signals are increasing faster than compliance teams can investigate them. Legacy rules and keyword-based approaches generate large volumes of false positives, which create unnecessary customer friction and consume investigative capacity that could be focused on genuine risk.
Quantifind's Graphyte™ AI-native Risk Intelligence Platform unifies internal, third-party, and open-source data into a single, high-accuracy risk intelligence system. This platform is powered by advanced entity resolution, Name Science™, dynamic risk typologies, and real-time network graph intelligence. Customers can leverage the power of Graphyte for KYC, sanctions, payments transaction intelligence, investigations, and third-party risk management. An independent Celent economic analysis found that a Tier 1 bank deploying Graphyte across KYC and sanctions screening could reduce annual alert-processing costs by as much as $177.9 million.
The expansion into Sydney is part of Quantifind's broader strategy to deepen its support for financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific region and to capitalize on the growing demand for modern financial crime intelligence solutions. With a dedicated leadership team in place, Quantifind is well-positioned to deliver precise, mission-aligned intelligence at speed and scale to the financial institutions and government agencies it serves.
