Q-Gold Reports High-Grade Gold Samples from Mine Centre Exploration Program

TORONTO, Sept. 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Q-Gold Resources Ltd. has announced promising results from its summer 2026 exploration program at the Mine Centre Gold Project, revealing high-grade gold samples that could significantly advance the company's planned drilling campaign.
Over the course of three field rotations from June through August 2026, Q-Gold's exploration team conducted extensive geological mapping, vein tracing, prospecting, and grab sampling. The program, which covered targets north and south of the historic Foley Mine, generated 222 grab samples and 126 channel samples, excluding quality-control samples. Of these, the most notable results included a 600 g/t gold sample from the Ferguson Showing, along with other high-grade samples such as 73.4 g/t, 57.8 g/t, and 44.0 g/t.
The highest-grade sample was found approximately 500 meters southwest of the historic Golden Star Mine, within a northwest-striking vein. Other significant results included 46.6 g/t and 34.7 g/t gold from a quartz vein about 1.2 kilometers south of the historic Manhattan Gold Vein Mine. Additionally, samples from a location approximately 300 meters south of the Foley Mine showed 95.1 g/t and 89.8 g/t gold within the broader Vowel, Jumbo, and Bonanza multi-vein systems.
Dr. Andreas Rompel, Chief Operating Officer of Q-Gold, commented, "The 2026 surface program has given us a broader and better-defined set of targets at Mine Centre. The high-grade grab sample results at Ferguson and South Foley warrant systematic follow-up. We will combine the pending channel assays with our mapping and structural data to prioritize the targets for the planned drill campaign."
The exploration program involved three rotations. The first, from June 22 to July 6, focused on the Foley Project, with highlights including 55.9 g/t gold at the Pacitto Showing, 32.1 g/t at the Government Vein, and 23.2 g/t at the Daisy Vein. The second rotation, from July 15 to July 30, followed up on mineralized zones identified during the initial program, with notable results such as 95.1 g/t gold at the South Foley Vein and 600 g/t at the northern end of the Government Vein within the Ferguson Showing. The third rotation, from August 13 to August 26, advanced the surface program through detailed geological mapping, vein tracing, and channel sampling, with the aim of defining the apparent continuity, geometry, and extent of the gold-bearing veins.
Q-Gold is integrating the assay results with new geological mapping, vein tracing, and structural measurements to rank drill targets across North Foley, South Foley, Nugget, Ferguson, and Pacitto. The planned drilling campaign is expected to increase drill density around the previously drilled Foley Mine and test select surface targets identified by the 2026 program.
The company is maintaining a strict QA/QC protocol, with a rotating sequence of certified gold standards, blanks, and crush duplicates inserted after every 20th field sample to monitor the accuracy and precision of the analytical results. Samples were collected, documented, and handled under the supervision of the project geologist, and all samples were securely transported to the Activation Laboratories Ltd. laboratory facility in Dryden, Ontario, for analysis.
The results of the 2026 exploration program have given Q-Gold a clearer understanding of the mineralized structures and potential targets for future drilling. The company remains focused on advancing the Mine Centre Gold Project and creating long-term shareholder value through disciplined project advancement and responsible resource development.
