Vancouver, BC, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Skyharbour Resources Ltd., a company with a portfolio of uranium exploration projects in Canada’s Athabasca Basin, has announced that its partner company, Purecore Metals, has commenced a comprehensive data compilation and technical review program at the Yurchison Uranium Property. Located in the Athabasca Basin, northern Saskatchewan, the Yurchison property covers approximately 35,029 hectares and is situated roughly 75 kilometers south of Cameco’s Rabbit Lake operation.

The program, which is intended to consolidate historical and modern geological, geochemical, geophysical, and exploration information, aims to refine areas of interest, identify converging technical evidence, and prioritize targets for potential future field exploration. Purecore may acquire an initial 70% interest in the Yurchison property by making cash payments, issuing shares, and incurring exploration expenditures. An additional 30% interest can be earned by making further financial contributions and issuing more shares.

Historical exploration at Yurchison has included a variety of geophysical surveys, geological mapping, prospecting, geochemical sampling, and drilling. Much of this work was completed prior to 2000, with additional modern airborne geophysical work conducted in recent years. The current program will involve compiling and digitizing available historical data, integrating and interpreting modern geophysical datasets, reviewing historical uranium occurrences, and assessing structural and geological controls relevant to uranium mineralization.

Peter Berdusco, President and CEO of Purecore, commented, “Yurchison has decades of exploration history and a significant volume of modern geophysical data. This program brings that information together into an integrated geological framework to refine our understanding of the property and prioritize areas for future exploration.”

The Yurchison property is part of a larger exploration landscape in the Athabasca Basin, known for its significant uranium deposits. The basin has seen extensive historical exploration, including airborne electromagnetic, magnetic, and radiometric surveys, as well as ground magnetic, EM, IP, and gravity surveys. Prospecting near old trenches has returned uranium values ranging from 0.09% to 0.30% U3O8, along with molybdenum values between 2,500 ppm and 6,400 ppm.

The property is underlain by Wollaston Supergroup metasedimentary gneisses, including psammopelitic to pelitic gneisses and graphitic pelitic gneisses adjacent to Archean granitic gneisses in the Eastern Wollaston Domain. The exploration potential for both basement-hosted uranium mineralization and copper, zinc, and molybdenum mineralization remains high.

Skyharbour Resources Ltd., with a focus on advancing its portfolio of uranium exploration projects, is well-positioned to benefit from improving uranium market fundamentals. The company’s extensive portfolio includes the Moore Uranium Project, which is located 15 kilometers east of Denison’s Wheeler River project and 39 kilometers south of Cameco’s McArthur River uranium mine. The company is actively working on its assets through exploration and drilling programs.

The Yurchison property, with its rich history of exploration and significant potential, is a key asset in Skyharbour’s ongoing efforts to maximize shareholder value through new mineral discoveries and committed long-term partnerships.
