FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 7, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The 6th Annual Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Festival is set to return to Fort Lauderdale Beach on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd. The event, presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Business Improvement District (BBID), promises a day filled with autumnal fun and family-friendly activities.

This year, the festival will expand its carnival experience, offering two wristband options for attendees. A $10 Carnival Wristband grants unlimited access to all inflatable attractions and the five classic carnival games, including Bank a Ball, Baseball Toss, Down a Clown, Knock Down, and Magic Ring Toss. Participants can take home plush prizes from these games.

For just $2 more, the $12 Carnival Wristband + Pumpkin option includes everything offered with the $10 wristband, plus one pumpkin to decorate at the Coastal Wealth-sponsored decorating station. Pumpkins are available while supplies last, making this a unique addition to the festival.

The event will feature a full day of free activities, including an interactive photo station sponsored by Stoked on Salt, hands-on exploration aboard the MODS STEMobile, the Broward Center Spotlights' musical Trick-or-Treat Trail, Balloon Artistry sponsored by SoFlo Community Markets, lawn games with candy prizes, and the Oceanside Community MKT. These activities will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., alongside the festival's main attractions.

Returning as a signature tradition is the 6th Annual Student Pie Baking Competition, presented by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) Broward. Aspiring student bakers will compete in a sweet showdown, showcasing their culinary skills and contributing to the next generation of South Florida hospitality and culinary talent.

Another highlight is the Broward Center Spotlights Trick-or-Treat Trail, where costumed youth performers will entertain families with songs from productions featured in the Broward Center for the Performing Arts' current season. Children can collect treats as they make their way through the trail.

The Las Olas Oceanside Park, known as The LOOP, is the central hub of a $65 million investment in the City of Fort Lauderdale's Parks and Recreation Department. Since opening in 2019, the park has been recognized in Fort Lauderdale Magazine's Best of Fort Lauderdale readers' poll, earning multiple honors, including Best Park, Best Outdoor Space, Best Event, and Best Place to Take Children.

Attendees are encouraged to come dressed for the season and make a day of it, with the Oceanside Community MKT open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. alongside the festival activities. Convenient parking is available at the Las Olas Beach Parking Garage, with PayByPhone options for easy, remote parking extensions.
