TORONTO, Sept. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- PTX Metals Inc., a Canadian mineral exploration company, has announced the successful closing of a significant transaction that will see the creation of Green Canada Uranium Corp. (GCUC). This development marks an important milestone in the uranium exploration sector and is expected to enhance the value of PTX's portfolio.

The transaction, which involved Green Canada Corporation and MAACKK Capital Corp., will see the new entity, GCUC, commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "GCUC" on or around September 9, 2026. GCUC has acquired a 100% interest in the Marshall uranium project located in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, known for its rich uranium deposits.

Greg Ferron, President and CEO of PTX Metals, expressed enthusiasm about the transaction, stating, "We are pleased to see Green Canada Uranium reach this important milestone. As a separately listed uranium company, PTX is retaining significant exposure to its future success for our shareholders. At the same time, the transaction reduces costs at PTX and allows our team to remain focused on advancing our core Ontario assets."

The Marshall uranium project holds significant exploration potential, with drilling expected to commence in September. PTX is optimistic about the future of this project, which could contribute significantly to the company’s overall strategic objectives.

In addition to focusing on its core Ontario assets, including the W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE Project and South Timmins gold assets, PTX will also evaluate tax-efficient opportunities associated with its GCUC shareholding. This evaluation will take into account applicable regulatory, tax, and other considerations.

PTX Metals remains committed to advancing its portfolio through disciplined exploration, technical excellence, and responsible engagement with local communities. The company’s goal is to create long-term value for its shareholders.

Investors seeking updates on Green Canada Uranium, its projects, and exploration activities should refer directly to GCUC’s public disclosures and communications.

This transaction aligns with PTX’s strategy of creating value from non-core assets while reducing associated costs, thereby allowing the company to concentrate its efforts on its core Ontario projects.
