PSHRA Appoints 2027 President-Elect and New Executive Council Members

The Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA®) has appointed Shawn Aulgur, PSHRA-CP, as the 2027 President-Elect, effective January 1, 2027. Aulgur, currently the human resources director for the City of Raymore, Missouri, brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served PSHRA in various capacities since 2013.
Aulgur's contributions to PSHRA have been significant. She has held leadership roles on the Regional Task Force Implementation Committee, the Executive Council Nominating Committee, and as Chair of the Publications Committee. Additionally, she has served as the Program Chair, President-Elect, and President of the PSHRA Greater Kansas City Chapter, as well as the Central Region Treasurer. Aulgur's passion for fostering meaningful connections among HR professionals and her commitment to providing practical resources and valuable programming have been instrumental in her career.

Aulgur will serve alongside Brian Haggerty, PSHRA-SCP, who will take on the role of 2027 President, and Amy Blake, PSHRA-SCP, who will serve as the 2027 Past President. The PSHRA Executive Council has also appointed three new members for 2027: - Patrick Ho, PSHRA-SCP, Chief Human Resources Officer at Gilmer County Government, Ellijay, Georgia - Tony Luton, PSHRA-SCP, Human Resources Director at the Town of Prosper, Texas - David Morgan, PSHRA-SCP, Director of Human Resources at the Office of the Oklahoma State Treasurer
