VANCOUVER, September 3, 2026, Providence Gold Mines Inc. has announced positive results from its second stockpile trenching sample program at the Tarantula mine in the La Dama De Oro gold property, located approximately 40 minutes from the City of Victorville, California. The company is pleased with the findings, which are expected to inform its exploration and potential gold recovery strategies.
The sampling was overseen by Mark Payne P. Geo. #7067, who delivered the samples to American Assay Labs in Sparks, Nevada, for analysis. The assays were conducted using a conventional 30-gram gold silver fire assay method. Dr. Lee Groat, an Independent Qualified Person working with Providence Gold Mines, reviewed and approved the technical information contained in the release.
The results from the second phase of the Tarantula trenching program indicate that material greater than ¾ inch, amounting to 22 kilograms, was extracted from a 55-kilogram sample, upgrading the gold content to 14 grams per ton. Initial findings suggest a promising potential for gold recovery.
Ronald Coombes, President and CEO of Providence Gold Mines, stated, "The historical La Dama De Oro mine continues to develop as an exciting gold exploration story. With the permitted 1,000-ton bulk sample and current gold prices at record levels, the leverage for a micro-cap company like Providence Gold Mines is unique. This high-grade potential, combined with our fully permitted status, positions us well for near-term bulk sample production."
The company is also exploring new gold vein discoveries. A recent surface channel sampling at the westernmost face of the Mojave Girl vein reported 8 grams of gold per ton over a true width of 0.45 meters. The sampling revealed a significant sericitic alteration bloom, with strong fracturing and softer, bleached, moderate iron oxide staining in the quartz monzonite. This zone of alteration and fracturing has resulted in a 300-foot (90-meter) long area of negative topographic expression, marked by a reddish-brown coloration of the soil.
Mark Payne P. Geo. added, "Historical precedent from similar sericitic alteration blooms suggests a high likelihood of new gold discoveries. Core testing beneath such blooms has resulted in numerous high-grade gold discoveries in other areas. We are optimistic about the potential for a new gold discovery at the Western Mojave Girl vein exploration target."
Exploration plans for the La Dama De Oro property include trenching and sampling the discovery vein at the surface, blending it with the stockpiles, and conducting geophysical surveys to determine the potential size of various targets. The company is also in negotiations with an experienced local mill owner to process the permitted 1,000-ton bulk sample.
With ongoing exploration success, Providence Gold Mines is well-positioned to leverage its high-grade potential and fully permitted status for near-term gold recovery and production. The company remains focused on developing its exploration targets to provide potential cash flow.
