NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- PROCEPT BioRobotics shareholders have until September 22, 2026, to file lead plaintiff applications in a securities class action lawsuit, according to a notice from ClaimsFiler, a free shareholder information service. The lawsuit pertains to shares purchased between February 28, 2024, and February 25, 2026, inclusive.

ClaimsFiler advises investors who purchased Procept BioRobotics (NasdaqGM: PRCT) shares during this period to seek legal counsel, as the company and certain executives are alleged to have made material misrepresentations during the Class Period. Specifically, the lawsuit claims that Procept failed to disclose that U.S. handpiece sales had consistently exceeded procedures since the first fiscal quarter of 2023, leading to an accumulation of more than 10,000 excess handpiece units. This inventory imbalance, the lawsuit alleges, would result in significant declines in U.S. handpiece unit sales and a failure to meet the company's annual revenue guidance.

The case, titled Operating Engineers Construction Industry and Miscellaneous Pension Fund v. PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation, is currently pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. According to ClaimsFiler, the lawsuit is based on alleged false and misleading statements and omissions by Procept and its executives.

ClaimsFiler’s mission is to provide retail investors with the tools and information needed to recover their share of billions of dollars from securities class action settlements. The service offers free registration and access to information and settlement websites, portfolio transactional data upload, and case evaluations by the law firm.
