Prismo Metals Inc., a mining exploration company focused on advancing its Silver King and Ripsey Gold projects in Arizona and its Palos Verdes silver project in Mexico, announced on September 11, 2026, that its subsidiary, Blade Resources Inc., has received final approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) to list its common shares on the CSE. The listing is set to commence on September 14, 2026, under the symbol "AZCU."
Blade Resources Inc. is an exploration company dedicated to the development of the Hot Breccia project, an emerging copper-gold porphyry located near Hayden, Arizona. The project is situated in the heart of the Arizona Copper Belt, known for its significant porphyry copper deposits. Prismo Metals acquired a 24% stake in Blade Resources as part of a transaction where Prismo assigned its rights and interests in the Hot Breccia copper project to Blade Resources in January 2023.
As of the announcement, Prismo Metals owns 6,755,000 shares of Blade Resources. According to Alain Lambert, CEO of Prismo, "The Silver King and Hot Breccia projects are some of the most compelling copper exploration opportunities in North America. With the listing of Blade Resources, our shareholders are now exposed to the potential upside of two significant copper exploration plays in Arizona."
The listing of Blade Resources on the CSE is expected to provide increased liquidity and visibility for investors interested in the copper exploration sector. Additionally, Prismo Metals retains the right to nominate a representative to Blade’s board of directors and has been granted participation rights in future equity offerings to maintain its undiluted ownership percentage.
The Hot Breccia project has been advanced to a fully permitted, drill-ready stage. Prior to this, the property was explored by Bear Creek Mining, a subsidiary of Kennecott, in a joint venture with Conoco Inc. from 1972 to 1981. Historical exploration revealed substantial porphyry copper skarn mineralization in multiple drill holes, confirming the presence of a large, mineralized Laramide age porphyry deposit. The grade and tonnage of the deposit remain to be determined.
Prismo Metals also disclosed plans to proceed with two debt settlement agreements with two creditors directly involved in the Silver King drill campaign. Under these agreements, the company will issue an aggregate of 1,555,475 shares and 375,000 warrants to the creditors in full and final settlement of their service fees. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one share for a period of 24 months at an exercise price of $0.10. All securities issued under these agreements will be subject to a four-month statutory hold period.
With the listing of Blade Resources and ongoing exploration activities, Prismo Metals aims to capitalize on the potential of the Hot Breccia project and other copper exploration opportunities in the Arizona Copper Belt. The company's CEO expressed optimism about the project's future, stating, "We look forward to Hot Breccia being drilled before the end of this year."
