TORONTO, Oct. 07, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Premier American Uranium Inc. has announced positive results from its ongoing exploration drilling program at the Kaycee Project in northeastern Wyoming. The company has reported encouraging findings from the 2026 exploration drilling program, particularly at the West Diane target.
According to the release, six out of eight drillholes at the West Diane target have encountered uranium mineralization, including a significant 10-foot interval grading 0.064% eU₃O₈ in drillhole WD26-012. This interval further includes 5.5 feet of 0.076% eU₃O₈ and 2 feet of 0.092% eU₃O₈. The company has completed 80 conventional mud-rotary drillholes for a total of 65,620 feet, representing approximately 66% of the planned 100,000-foot program. The drilling is currently focused on the West Diane target, with plans to return to the Rustler area following the completion of the West Diane campaign.
At the Rustler target, six of the 22 newly reported drillholes have intersected uranium mineralization at grades of at least 0.02% eU₃O₈. Notable findings include 2.5 feet grading 0.063% eU₃O₈ in drillhole RT26-121 and 3.5 feet grading 0.037% eU₃O₈ in drillhole RT26-116. These results prompted the company to secure an additional 1,883 acres of mineral rights, extending the target area north and west and connecting the Rustler and Stampede claim blocks. This expansion brings the total land package to 31,724 acres.
The Kaycee Project, located in the Powder River Basin, covers over 42 square miles of mineral rights and is believed to be the only project in the basin where all three known historically productive sandstone formations (Wasatch, Fort Union, and Lance) are mineralized and potentially accessible for in-situ recovery (ISR) extraction. The project is part of the largest grassroots ISR drill program in the United States, with over 400,000 feet of drilling completed since 2023.
The company's exploration team is undertaking the largest grassroots ISR drill program in the United States, with the Kaycee Project and the Cyclone Project in the Great Divide Basin forming a significant part of the company's exploration portfolio.
