Precore Gold Completes High-Resolution Magnetic Survey at Arikepay Gold Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Precore Gold Corp. has completed a high-resolution drone-based magnetic survey at its Arikepay Gold Project in Southern Peru, marking a significant step in the company’s exploration efforts. The survey, which covered an area of 579 hectares, aimed to map buried structures, intrusive bodies, and alteration patterns that may be associated with gold and copper mineralization.
The survey involved 51 survey lines spaced at 50 meters and six control lines, covering a total distance of 128.13 kilometers. This comprehensive effort extended beyond the project’s known mineralized zones, potentially revealing additional targets for future drilling. The MagDrone campaign is part of Precore Gold’s systematic approach to understanding the full scale and architecture of the mineralized system at Arikepay.

The Arikepay property is located in the Andean foothills, characterized by more or less rounded peaks. The general topography consists of continental sediments, such as the Moquegua Formation, and recent alluvial terrace material, which covers the property, leaving no visible outcrops. This challenging terrain necessitates the use of advanced geophysical techniques to map the subsurface.
Precore Gold also received magnetic survey data collected by helicopter (HeliMag) as part of the information-sharing package gained through the company’s option agreement. This data, collected in May 2012 by Geophysics One, will be reanalyzed and combined with the new MagDrone survey data to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the geological features.
The MagDrone survey is expected to assist in identifying unrecognized faults, structural corridors, and intersections, as well as possible extensions of known mineralization beneath shallow cover and away from historical drill holes. This information will help Precore Gold rank targets more confidently and design drill holes that test the project’s potential more effectively.
Upon the completion of the review and interpretation of the new geophysical data, Precore Gold plans to continue additional pre-drilling exploration work at Arikepay to finalize drill targets. The company anticipates sharing the results of this campaign and a project update with the market in the coming weeks.
