TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 23, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- PowerCompute, Inc., a Bitcoin treasury and mining company based in Tampa, Florida, is set to significantly boost its mining capacity through the installation of 1,000 new Bitmain Antminer S19 XP miners at its Oklahoma facility by September 30, 2026. The company plans to replace existing S19J Pro units, which have a hash rate of 100 terahash per second (TH/s) or less, with the more efficient S19 XP miners, each averaging 132 TH/s.

The new miners will replace S19 units, which have a hash rate of 95 TH/s, currently operating in the Mississippi facility. Once the redeployment is complete, the Oklahoma facility is expected to have a total hash rate of approximately 822 petahash per second (PH/s), marking a 6.6% increase from the 771 PH/s recorded as of June 30, 2026.

On September 22, 2026, PowerCompute placed an order for an additional 940 Bitmain Antminer S19 XP miners to replace S19 units in the Mississippi facility, which have a hash rate of 95 TH/s. Assuming these units perform as expected, the total hash rate is anticipated to rise to approximately 862 PH/s, representing a cumulative increase of about 11.8% over the June 30, 2026, figures.

Each new unit will replace a machine producing 95 TH/s with one that averages 132 TH/s, making them more efficient at approximately 21.5 joules per terahash compared to the 34 joules per terahash of the retired units. The company's power infrastructure and power cost on a per-unit basis are not expected to change, allowing the added hashrate to translate directly into more Bitcoin mined and more revenue.

The total cost for the 1,000 units to be installed in September and the 940 on order is approximately $400,000, which the company plans to fund from its cash reserves and Bitcoin holdings. PowerCompute has up to 3 megawatts of additional energized capacity in Mississippi available for expansion, which would require additional infrastructure and capital.

As of August 31, 2026, the company held 323 Bitcoin, valued at approximately $27.8 million based on a Bitcoin price of approximately $86,000 as of September 21, 2026. The company's focus on expanding its mining operations underscores its commitment to maximizing its hashrate and revenue potential.
