Porch Light Health Expands Methadone Treatment in Fort Collins and Greeley

DENVER, Sept. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Porch Light Health and Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) have expanded access to methadone treatment for opioid use disorder in Northern Colorado, opening new medication units in Fort Collins and Greeley. This move comes as drug overdose deaths continue to rise in the state, with 1,765 people losing their lives to drug overdoses in 2025, marking a 10% increase from 2024 and approximately 65% more than in 2019.

Porch Light Health acquired CBHC, a licensed opioid treatment program specializing in methadone treatment, in 2025. CBHC continues to operate under its established name as part of the Porch Light Health family. The new medication units will be located within Porch Light Health’s clinics at 702 W. Drake Rd. Building D in Fort Collins and 8223 W 20th St. in Greeley. These units will offer methadone treatment alongside a full range of FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, including buprenorphine and naltrexone. Additionally, patients will have access to counseling, behavioral health, psychiatric care, infectious disease treatment, and other medical support.

The expansion of these medication units is part of a broader effort to address the growing opioid crisis in Colorado. According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the number of drug overdose deaths has been increasing steadily over the past few years. The new locations will provide low-barrier outpatient care in a respectful, judgment-free environment. Walk-ins are welcome, and same-day intake and dosing will be available whenever possible. The programs will accept Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare, and staff will help patients understand their coverage and available payment options.
