Polymarket, the world's largest prediction market platform, has launched a new feature called Squads, designed to bring the social experience of group chats directly into the Polymarket app. This move aims to enhance user engagement and collaboration among friends and fans of various events, including sports.

According to Travis VanderZanden, Chief Growth Officer at Polymarket, "People are constantly discussing and sharing their predictions about upcoming events in their group chats. With Squads, we are bringing the conversation and the action together in one place, making it easier for friends to follow the events they care about and make their predictions on Polymarket."

Through Squads, users can create private groups and invite friends to join. Within these groups, members can chat about games, markets, and predictions, share their positions and combos, and see what other members are trading. This feature facilitates a collaborative environment where users can trade alongside friends directly from shared positions and combos.

"Squads marks a significant step in Polymarket's strategy to introduce new and engaging ways for people to trade on and engage with the events they care about," VanderZanden noted. "This feature will not only enhance user experience but also strengthen the community on our platform."

In conjunction with the Squads launch, Polymarket has also unveiled Polymarket HQ, its inaugural football-season campaign, directed by Peter Berg. The campaign features a roster of sports legends and cultural icons, including LeBron James, Eli Manning, Derek Jeter, Spike Lee, Sue Bird, Richard Sherman, Rajon Rondo, and others. Set inside a fictional Polymarket headquarters, each floor represents a different market, showcasing Squads, live trading, Combos, and other Polymarket product features.

Polymarket's platform allows participants to trade on the outcomes of real-world events, generating real-time probability estimates that are among the most accurate forecasting tools available. With Squads, the company aims to create a more interactive and social trading environment, fostering a sense of community among its users.

"We are excited to introduce Squads and Polymarket HQ to the Polymarket community," said VanderZanden. "Our goal is to provide a space where friends can engage in meaningful conversations and make predictions together, making the prediction market experience more accessible and enjoyable for everyone."
