NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Planet Fitness, Inc. shareholders have until September 14, 2026, to join a pending securities fraud lawsuit, according to a notice from Rosen Law Firm.

Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, is reminding investors who purchased Planet Fitness, Inc. (NYSE: PLNT) common stock between November 6, 2025, and May 6, 2026, of the critical deadline to potentially recover losses through a class action lawsuit.

The firm asserts that during this period, Planet Fitness made materially false and misleading statements regarding its customer acquisition and marketing metrics. The lawsuit alleges that the company's updated marketing messaging failed to resonate with its core demographic of fitness beginners and casual gym-goers, leading to significant declines in net member joins, particularly during its peak first-quarter sign-up period.

As a result, Planet Fitness was unable to meet its previously issued fiscal 2026 guidance and long-term financial targets. The company was forced to restructure its marketing strategy and abandon a planned Black Card price increase, which had been integral to its sales projections.

"Shareholders who purchased Planet Fitness stock during the class period may be entitled to compensation without any out-of-pocket costs," said Phillip Kim, an attorney with Rosen Law Firm.

The lawsuit claims that the company's false statements and omissions significantly impacted investor confidence, leading to financial losses. To be considered as a lead plaintiff, interested parties must file a motion with the court by September 14, 2026.

It is important to note that no class has yet been certified, and investors are not represented by counsel unless they retain one. Potential class members are encouraged to take action to protect their legal rights without undue delay.
