BERLIN, September 5, 2026, PITAKA, a brand known for its innovative aramid-fiber phone cases and tech accessories, unveiled its latest venture into lifestyle design at a unique event in Berlin. The company hosted its first brand event, "Signals in the Wind," at The Feuerle Collection, an art museum converted from an industrial space, marking a significant step in its evolution from a tech-focused brand to one that emphasizes materials and design.
The evening, which kicked off at 8 p.m., featured five stations centered around the theme of Material & Sense. Guests were invited to explore the brand's philosophy through interactive experiences and sensory encounters. At "Material Speaks," a display inspired by a wheat field allowed visitors to compare PITAKA Moment and Trace pieces, feeling the transition of industrial aramid fiber into a more emotive material. The "Meditation in the Wind" station paired field recordings with the sounds of weaving, creating a serene atmosphere that encouraged reflection.
The highlight of the event was the world premiere of the Wind Over Wheat Trace Form Edition. This new collection is inspired by the movement of the wind across a wheat field, using woven aramid fiber to capture the landscape's rhythm. The Wind Over Wheat collection will be available in three finishes: Golden Drift, Surging Awn, and Berlin Nocturne. The limited-edition Trace Form Edition, designed to launch on September 17, will coincide with PITAKA's new iPhone 18 accessories.
James Zheng, the founder of PITAKA, expressed the company's vision: "Technology has become incredibly precise, but we're interested in what happens when we leave room for material, human judgment, and nature to participate in the process. We want to create products that do more than perform a function; we want people to see, touch, and feel a deeper connection with them."
Through "Signals in the Wind," PITAKA aims to shift the conversation away from traditional accessory features such as thinness and protection, towards a focus on material, aesthetics, and sensory experience. This event marks the brand's commitment to becoming a distinctive voice in material-led design and modern technology lifestyle.
PITAKA's philosophy, Material & Sense, is centered on exploring how advanced materials, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design can enhance the way everyday technology feels. The company continues to push the boundaries of what tech accessories can be, from phone cases to MagSafe accessories and tech organization products for Apple and Samsung devices.
