SÃO PAULO, Sept. 03, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- PicPay, Brazil's largest digital bank by customer base, has announced an integration with Claude from Anthropic, expanding its offerings in the generative artificial intelligence space. This move follows a recent partnership with ChatGPT from OpenAI, signaling PicPay's commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance customer experiences.
Through the integration, PicPay customers can now access and monitor their financial information through Claude, a conversational AI platform. The feature allows users to check financial details by sending natural-language commands after securely authenticating in the PicPay environment. The integration is currently available to both Android and iOS users and will be rolled out gradually through an early-access program.
Customers who are already using the PicPay plugin on ChatGPT can also access these features on Claude, regardless of their subscription tier. The integration is designed to facilitate financial inquiries and monitoring, with plans to expand to include additional financial operations in the future.
Eduardo Chedid, CEO of PicPay, commented, "As our customers increasingly rely on leading generative AI platforms in their daily lives, we are focused on connecting PicPay with these ecosystems to create a more seamless financial experience. Our strong commitment to innovation and customer data protection will continue to guide the development of our products."
To connect their PicPay account with Claude, customers can search for the service under the "Connectors" tab and follow the authentication steps. The feature provides access to various financial information, including account and savings balances, credit card statement balances, and completed transactions. Users can ask questions such as, "What is my available balance?" or "What were my most recent credit card transactions?"
The security of this integration is a top priority for PicPay. The platform uses the same security layers as the PicPay app, including facial biometric authentication. Customers can authenticate through PicPay’s online banking login, ensuring that no additional app installation is required. Data exchanges are processed according to PicPay’s security standards and privacy policies, ensuring that user data is protected in accordance with applicable laws.
PicPay operates a two-sided ecosystem connecting consumers and businesses, offering a wide range of financial products and services, including a digital wallet, credit cards, loans, investments, and insurance. With this new integration, PicPay aims to provide a more integrated and efficient financial experience for its users.
The integration with Claude is part of PicPay's broader strategy to leverage technological advancements to improve customer service and operational efficiency. As customers continue to integrate AI into their daily lives, PicPay is positioning itself at the forefront of this innovation, providing a seamless and secure financial experience.
