Pet's Best Life to Highlight Gum Disease and Obesity at New York Vet Show

NEW YORK, October 20, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Pet's Best Life, LLC, a company focused on improving the health and longevity of dogs, will spotlight two critical health issues affecting over 100 million dogs at the New York Vet Show, scheduled for October 29-30. The event will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, with Joe Roetheli, the co-founder of Pet's Best Life, presenting at 2:40 pm in the Brooklyn Theater.

According to Cornell University research, an estimated 80-90% of dogs aged three and older display some level of gum disease, while roughly half of U.S. dogs aged two and older are overweight. Many dogs suffer from both conditions, which can significantly impact their overall health and longevity.

Pet's Best Life's flagship product, Yummy Combs, addresses both health concerns. The product, which won the 2024 'Product of the Year' award, was developed to provide a safe, clinically proven daily oral-care treat that helps fight tartar between brushings and veterinary checkups.

The innovative Yummy Combs features a patented hexagonal, honeycomb design that creates a 360-degree scrubbing and flossing action, reaching more tooth surface and helping remove hardened tartar. A first in the dog treat category, the product was clinically tested and found to reduce hardened tartar by 26%, plaque by 15%, and bad breath by 46% in just 60 days.

In addition to addressing dental health, Yummy Combs also supports weight management. The treat is complete and balanced, containing all required vitamins and minerals, all 22 amino acids, and 12 wellness ingredients selected to support nutrition, joint health, a healthy coat, and overall well-being.

Pet's Best Life representatives will be answering questions at Booth 116 during the New York Vet Show.

The event is part of the New York Vet Show, which brings together veterinarians, pet owners, and industry experts to discuss the latest developments in pet health and wellness.
