Pacific Ridge Completes Drilling at Kliyul and RDP Copper-Gold Projects

Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd., a company focused on copper exploration in British Columbia, has completed its 2026 exploration programs at its 100% owned Kliyul copper-gold project and the RDP copper-gold project, both located in the Toodoggone Mining District.

At the RDP project, located 40 kilometers west of Kliyul, the company drilled five diamond drill holes totaling 3,010 meters at the Day target. Two of these holes, RDP-26-015 and RDP-26-016, tested the interpreted porphyry center, while the other three, RDP-26-017 through RDP-26-019, tested the western magnetic lobe. All drill holes intersected porphyry-style alteration, veining, and porphyritic monzodiorite intrusions.

Notably, drill holes RDP-26-016, RDP-26-017, and RDP-26-019 confirmed continuous copper-sulphide mineralization (chalcopyrite +/- bornite) from vertical depths of approximately 170 meters over lengths greater than 300 meters. This finding suggests the presence of porphyry mineralization in the western magnetic lobe, which is not directly correlated with airborne magnetic vector inversion highs. The results indicate that magnetic gradients and lows may also host mineralization, broadening the exploration search space at Day.

At the Kliyul project, the company completed four diamond drill holes totaling 1,524 meters at the M39 target, a high-priority area that had never been drill tested before. Every drill hole intersected porphyry-style alteration and veining associated with porphyritic dioritic intrusions. The alteration and vein assemblages encountered at M39 are comparable to those in drill holes peripheral to the KMZ mineralization, including KLI-22-048A, located approximately 250 meters laterally from the KMZ resource. These similarities indicate that drilling at M39 may have intersected the peripheral alteration footprint of a porphyry copper-gold system and support the potential for nearby mineralization.

Additionally, geophysical work at RDP included 11.7 line-kilometers of IP surveying on seven lines over Day, 1.2 line-kilometers on one line over Roy, and 283 line-kilometers of airborne MT surveying over the southern portion of the property. These datasets will be integrated with drilling, geology, geochemistry, and existing magnetic models to refine follow-up targets.

The exploration programs at both Kliyul and RDP generated important new geological and geophysical information.

The Kliyul project, located in the prolific Quesnel terrane, is close to existing infrastructure and remains open for expansion. The RDP project, also in the Toodoggone district, is over 100 square kilometers in size and has shown promising results with continuous copper-sulphide mineralization confirmed in multiple drill holes.
