DÜSSELDORF, Germany, Oct. 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- At the upcoming MEDICA 2026, the Silicon Valley-based company Ozelle will showcase its latest innovation, the O-Cyte 1, an automated hematology analyzer that combines complete blood count (CBC) testing with high-resolution cell imaging and AI-assisted classification. This advanced device, which will be on display at Hall 1, Booth D63, is designed to meet the growing demand for scalable AI-assisted morphology in routine hematology workflows.
O-Cyte 1 is engineered to provide laboratories with a seamless integration of numerical results and visual evidence, ensuring that professionals can review cell images when necessary. This approach aligns with the new digital morphology standardization project approved by the International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH) at its October 14-15 General Assembly. The initiative underscores the importance of verification, reproducibility, and quality assurance in digital morphology.
The O-Cyte 1 analyzer is built for flexibility and reliability, offering throughput options that cater to varying laboratory needs. A standalone unit can perform up to 60 tests per hour, while a six-unit cascade configuration can handle up to 360 tests per hour. These scalable configurations make the O-Cyte 1 suitable for laboratories of different sizes and testing volumes, providing a path for future capacity expansion.
In addition to the O-Cyte 1, Ozelle will also present the EHBT-75, an analyzer that combines 7-diff hematology with cell imaging and morphology analysis. The EHBT-50, another offering, integrates hematology, immunoassay, and dry biochemistry in a compact platform. These products, along with Ozelle's AI Workbench for AI-assisted report review and result sharing, will be available for visitors to explore and discuss potential distribution opportunities.
Ozelle, founded in 2014, has been at the forefront of developing AI-powered hematology and integrated diagnostic systems for both human and veterinary care. Its technology seamlessly combines cell imaging and intelligent analysis, designed for everyday clinical use. At MEDICA 2026, Ozelle aims to demonstrate how its innovative solutions can enhance the accuracy and efficiency of hematology testing, making morphology more consistent, reviewable, and scalable across routine workflows.
