Oxford Treatment Center Promotes Patient to Clinical Manager

OXFORD, Miss., Sept. 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Oxford Treatment Center has promoted Kate Bell to Outpatient Clinical Manager, a role that reflects her journey from patient to clinical leader. Bell, who has been in long-term recovery for 7.5 years, brings a unique perspective to her new position, having experienced the challenges that patients face as they transition back into everyday life.

Paige Havens, Executive Director of Oxford Treatment Center, praised Bell’s dedication and growth, stating, “Kate has earned this promotion through her commitment to the patients we serve. She has developed into a strong clinical leader and we are excited to see the impact she will continue to make in our outpatient program.”

Bell’s career at Oxford Treatment Center began as an intern in 2021, where she gained valuable experience before being hired as a weekend case manager later that year. She has since advanced through various clinical roles, including Counselor I, Counselor III, and most recently, Program Manager. In her new position, Bell will oversee clinical operations for Oxford Outpatient while continuing to support patients as they prepare for greater independence in recovery.

Bell believes that outpatient care is a critical part of the recovery journey. She recalls her own experience in outpatient care as the time when she had to begin sitting with her thoughts and emotions while learning how to navigate early recovery. “Outpatient is where you begin transitioning back into the community and learning how to live life again. That’s where I feel I can have the greatest impact.”

Oxford Treatment Center’s outpatient programs are designed to help patients continue building the skills and support they need as they transition toward greater independence and life in the community. The program typically consists of approximately 30 days of standard programming, with some patients remaining in care for 40 to 45 days based on individual needs. The majority of patients stay in supportive housing on campus.

Bell’s promotion reflects Oxford Treatment Center’s ongoing commitment to developing clinical leaders from within the organization and strengthening access to high-quality outpatient care. “I want our patients to understand that they are not the sum of every good or bad decision they’ve made. Recovery gives people an opportunity to decide what comes next.”

Bell, a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mississippi and holds a Bachelor of Science in English Education from Blue Mountain College. Her promotion underscores Oxford Treatment Center’s dedication to fostering a culture of recovery and support for both patients and staff.
