ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 19, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Owlting Group, the global fintech company behind OwlPay Harbor, marked one year on Nasdaq with a letter to shareholders from Founder and CEO Darren Wang. The letter highlighted significant progress and outlined the company's ambitious long-term goals.

Since its Nasdaq listing on October 16, 2025, Owlting Group has seen remarkable growth in its payment volume. From April to September 2026, OwlPay Harbor's payment volume increased approximately 15-fold, representing an average compound monthly growth rate of more than 70%. This growth has been consistent, with eight consecutive months of expansion.

The company's client base has also expanded. As of the date of the letter, enterprise clients exceeded 100, compared to 84 as of August 31, 2026. This growth in clients has contributed to the company's global reach, with payments settled into approximately 50 countries and territories this year.

Regulatory compliance is a cornerstone of Owlting Group's operations. The company holds Money Transmitter Licenses or their equivalents in 42 U.S. states and is registered as an Electronic Payment Intermediary Service Provider (Bank API registration) in Japan, with additional license applications in progress.

Looking ahead, Owlting Group aims to achieve approximately $500 million in annual revenue from OwlPay and digital currency-enabled payment services by 2030. The company projects gross margins of roughly 65% to 70% for digital currency payments at scale. These ambitious targets are underpinned by the company's belief in the transformative potential of AI in commerce and the growing importance of digital currencies and tokenized assets.

According to McKinsey, AI agent commerce could reach $3 trillion to $5 trillion in global consumer commerce by 2030. Citi projects that fiat-backed digital currency issuance could reach $1.9 trillion by 2030, potentially supporting close to $100 trillion in annual transaction activity. Citi also forecasts that tokenized financial assets could grow from about $17 billion in 2026 to $5.5 trillion by 2030, with stocks being the largest category at about $3.6 trillion. Cross-border remittances, as reported by the World Bank, reached approximately $905 billion in 2024.

Darren Wang emphasized that the company's long-term success hinges on its ability to provide compliant money movement, currency conversion, and settlement that connect digital activity to the real economy.

As of 2027, Owlting Group aims to take the next steps toward global scale. The company's long-term investments include Money Transmitter Licenses or their equivalents in 42 U.S. states, with the ability to serve customers in 43 U.S. states. Additionally, the company has registered as an Electronic Payment Intermediary Service Provider (Bank API registration) in Japan, with ongoing license applications.
