ŌURA Joins Workday Wellness to Offer Flexible Health Tracking Benefits

Employers can choose to fully fund the Oura Ring for their entire workforce, subsidize part of the cost, offer a discount, or make it available for employees to purchase on their own with payroll deductions. This flexibility is designed to help employers invest in benefits that their people will actually use, addressing issues like burnout, presenteeism, and declining productivity.

Oura Ring 5, which will be available to eligible employers through Workday Wellness later this year, is designed to continuously monitor and flag changes in nighttime breathing, blood pressure, and respiratory patterns. This helps employees stay ahead of potential health issues. The ring supports whole-person health across six pillars: sleep, stress, heart, metabolic, women's health, and activity.

According to Oura, more than 1,200 organizations already offer Oura Ring to their employees. Among Oura's paying members, 80% renew after one year, and 80% open the Oura App five or more days a week. These members also report significant improvements in their health, with a 90% improvement in overall health, 81% improvement in stress management, and 79% improvement in productivity.

Oura Ring 5 is purpose-built to leverage the finger's unique physiological advantages for photoplethysmography (PPG) measurement, producing a stronger signal than wrist-based wearables.
