Ongwe Minerals Inc. Files Technical Report for Khorixas Gold Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 03, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Ongwe Minerals Inc., a Canadian gold exploration company, has announced the voluntary filing of a technical report for its Khorixas Gold Project in Namibia. The report, titled "NI 43-101 Technical Report, Khorixas Gold Project, Namibia," was prepared by The MSA Group (Pty) Ltd. and authored by Michael J. Robertson, a professional natural scientist with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions.

The technical report, which has an effective date of May 31, 2026, and a report date of June 30, 2026, is now available on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca. This filing does not constitute a material change or a short-form prospectus.

In related news, Ongwe Minerals Inc. has appointed Aideen McDermott as the Head of Investor Relations, effective August 1, 2026. The agreement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and has an initial term of 12 months. Under the terms of the agreement, McDermott will receive CAD$5,000 per month, with the option to renew monthly, unless terminated earlier. Additionally, McDermott is eligible to receive stock options in the future.

Ongwe Minerals Inc. is focused on the discovery and advancement of new gold systems in Namibia. The company’s current projects, including the promising Omatjete and Khorixas Gold Projects, are situated in the Northwest Damara gold belt. The Omatjete Gold Project, located along the Okondeka Fault Zone, has shown encouraging results, including the discovery of the Manga Gold Prospect and the Nguni Gold Prospect.

The Khorixas Gold Project, situated just 60 kilometers west of Osino's Eureka gold project, has two large-scale surface discoveries called Belmont and K17. The Belmont prospect covers an area of approximately 12 × 6 kilometers and has shown potential for mineralization. Planning is currently underway for a geophysical program in the second half of 2026 to define the subsurface mineralization and develop drill targets.
