IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 19, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- OluKai, a premium footwear brand inspired by Hawaii, has partnered with master bladesmith Neil Kamimura to launch the Pāhi, a limited-edition boot designed to last and age beautifully. The collaboration blends Kamimura's generational craftsmanship with OluKai's commitment to durability and comfort.

Kamimura, a Big Island native and self-taught blacksmith, gained international recognition after winning the History Channel's "Forged in Fire" competition. Today, he crafts some of the most sought-after knives and swords for celebrities and collectors. His dedication to quality and craftsmanship inspired this partnership, which aims to create a boot that can withstand the demands of both the workshop and the open road.

The Pāhi is crafted from premium pull-up leather, which is saturated with dense waxes and oils to develop a distinctive, multi-tonal patina with wear. This process not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the boot but also provides natural water resistance, preventing cracking and hardening over time. The outsole is designed for traction, ensuring a confident grip whether on the workshop floor or the open road. Additionally, the outsole is built to be resoled, extending the life of the boot for years to come.

The Pāhi retails for $300 and will be available for early access on October 20th, with a sitewide release on October 22nd at OluKai.com and in select Boot Barn and OluKai retail stores. OluKai is committed to partnering with best-of-class retailers and is proud of the finished product. The company's spirit is shared by the Ama OluKai Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization created to formalize the company's giveback initiatives. Every OluKai sold supports the foundation's mission in Hawaii.

OluKai, one of less than 4,000 brands worldwide to be certified B-Corporation, is dedicated to minimizing waste water, reducing hazardous substances in manufacturing, and building quality products that last longer. This commitment is reflected in the Pāhi, a boot designed to be rebuilt and worn in, not worn out.
