Oculis Announces Board Member Lionel Carnot's Resignation

ZUG, Switzerland, September 30, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Oculis Holding AG, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on breakthrough innovations in neuro-ophthalmology and ophthalmology, announced the resignation of Lionel Carnot from its board of directors, effective immediately. Carnot, who has served on the board for nearly a decade, from 2017, will step down after contributing significantly to the company's growth and transformation.
Anthony Rosenberg, Chair of the Board, expressed gratitude for Carnot's service.
Carnot, in his farewell statement, highlighted the company's commitment to addressing unmet medical needs in ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology.
Rosenberg also noted that Carnot's departure is purely a personal decision and is not the result of any disagreement with the company. Following his resignation, the Board will consist of eight members. Geraldine O’Keeffe will chair the Remuneration Committee, with Gregory Perry and Robert Warner as members. The vacancy on the Board resulting from Carnot's resignation will be filled at a future annual or special general meeting.
Oculis, headquartered in Switzerland with operations in the U.S., Iceland, and Switzerland, continues to advance its pipeline of innovative treatments. Its two core product candidates, Privosegtor and Licaminlimab, are in late-stage clinical trials. Privosegtor, a breakthrough neuroprotective candidate, is part of the PIONEER program, which includes studies intended to support registration plans for the treatment of optic neuropathies, including optic neuritis and non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. Licaminlimab, a novel, topical anti-TNFα, is being developed with a genotype-based approach for treating patients with dry eye disease.
