ONTARIO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 12, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- O-Town Walls Mural Fest returns to Downtown Ontario with 15 new murals by artists from around the world, marking its second year as a vibrant celebration of public art. The festival, running from October 12 to 17, features live painting and a surprise guest artist who will add a few unexpected murals throughout the week.
This year’s theme, "Butterfly Effect," aims to explore how a single creative act can ripple outward to change a wall, a neighborhood, and a city. The event will host artists from Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, South Korea, and the United States. Among them are BUBLEGUM, known for wildlife wrapped in ornamental filigree; ACHES, recognized for red-green-blue "glitch" portraits; Dutch artists Mr. June and Tymon de Laat; Royyal Dog, whose work places women of color in traditional Korean hanbok; Tom Bob from New York, who transforms street fixtures into playful characters; BKFoxx, who paints photorealism entirely in spray paint; 3D illusion artist Naomi Haverland; Whitney Holbourn; Wing Chow; Floyd Mendoza; and Southern California muralists Zao One and Shane Grammer.
The festival will culminate in a two-night block party, with a free event on Friday, October 16, and Saturday, October 17, from 5 to 10 p.m. The party will feature a breakdancing competition, live painting on temporary walls, street skating, a beer garden, food trucks, and music. The momentum is building, with KTLA 5 planning to film a story on Wednesday, October 14, which will air three times that day.
The inaugural festival in 2025 produced 17 murals by 16 artists, and this year's additions will push the downtown collection past 30.
Downtown revitalization is about more than improving buildings, it's about creating energy, identity, and reasons for people to return. O-Town Walls helps transform Downtown Ontario into a place people are excited to experience and proud to call their own, said Mia Sophia Melle, president and creative director of O-Town Walls.
The City of Ontario is a festival partner, and the City's eighth annual Ontario Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, October 17. Media tours are available throughout the festival week, with Wednesday, October 14, recommended as the best time to see the murals in progress. Interviews, on-site access, and high-resolution images are available for media.
