NYU Langone Health Tops Vizient Rankings for 5th Year

NEW YORK, Sept. 24, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- NYU Langone Health has been named the No. 1 health system in the United States by Vizient, Inc., marking the fifth consecutive year the organization has topped the rankings. Vizient, the nation's largest provider-driven healthcare performance improvement company, conducts an annual survey evaluating seven cohorts based on hospital size, services, and operational characteristics. The survey measures performance in six domains of patient care quality: safety, mortality, effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness, and variation in care.
NYU Langone Health's Manhattan campus has once again been named the top institution in the Comprehensive Academic Medical Center category, a distinction it has held for the past five years. Additionally, NYU Langone Hospital, Long Island was ranked No. 3 in the Large, Specialized Complex Care Medical Center cohort, and NYU Langone Hospital, Brooklyn ranked No. 6. NYU Langone Hospital, Suffolk, which was recently added to the Complex Care Medical Center cohort, ranked No. 55.
