NWPG's NFI Empire, a subsidiary of Newport Gold, Inc., has made significant progress on Project Reborn-001, a custom vehicle build that will be auctioned to benefit The Brett Boyer Foundation. The project, which aims to give a modern truck a second life, is set to raise funds for research and support for families facing congenital heart disease.

The build, which is being constructed to benefit The Brett Boyer Foundation, integrates a modern GMC Sierra 3500 Duramax platform into a 1979 Chevrolet K30 crew cab. This unique combination allows the truck to maintain its classic square-body exterior appearance while delivering modern performance, reliability, comfort, and technology inside. The entire vehicle is being overhauled from sheet metal through the hand-stitched leather interior and technology upgrades.

The donor vehicle for Project Reborn-001 was provided by Copart, Inc., a global leader in online vehicle auctions. Copart's innovative technology and online auction platforms connect vehicle consigners to approximately 1 million members in over 185 countries. The company's contribution is a modern GMC Sierra 3500 Duramax platform that will serve as the chassis, drivetrain foundation, and key components for the build.

Project Reborn-001 is set to be auctioned at The Red Bird Games in Brentwood, Tennessee. The auction, which will benefit The Brett Boyer Foundation, is part of a broader effort to raise awareness and funds for the organization's mission. The Brett Boyer Foundation, founded in 2017 by Ellen and Bo Boyer in memory of their daughter, Sadie Brett Boyer, is dedicated to raising awareness and funding research aimed at advancing treatment options while providing support to families and providers navigating a CHD diagnosis. The foundation also works to celebrate the love, capability, and dignity of the Down syndrome community.

The foundation's efforts are particularly important given that 50% of babies born with Down syndrome fight CHD. Through fundraising efforts and partnerships with like-minded organizations, the foundation aims to improve outcomes for children living with heart disease.

The build on Project Reborn-001 is expected to be completed in time for the auction, which will be held at The Red Bird Games. The event is a significant milestone for both NFI Empire and The Brett Boyer Foundation, as it brings together the efforts of multiple organizations to support a critical cause.

As the build progresses, consistent updates will be shared to keep the community informed about the project's progress. The auction is set to take place in the coming months, and the proceeds will go directly to supporting the foundation's mission.
