MIAMI, Oct. 6, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Nuage Designs, a luxury event rental company known for its distinctive linens, furniture, and elevated tabletop collections, has appointed Rob Holston as its Chief Strategy & Operations Officer. Holston brings a wealth of experience in advising and scaling consumer, hospitality, and luxury brands, having spent 12 years at EY as the Global and Americas Consumer Products Sector Leader.
Holston’s extensive background includes advising boards and management teams on leveraging data and analytics to drive growth and enter new markets. Prior to his role at EY, he served on the Operating Committee of a leading consumer and retail analytics firm, where he led the development of technology and analytics products for Fortune 100 brands, including Pepsico and L'Oréal.
Holston’s focus is on scaling the company’s design and execution capabilities across markets like Chicago, with the aim of providing planners, designers, florists, venues, and hospitality partners with more efficient and faster ordering processes, as well as a consistent standard of quality and service.
The appointment comes as Nuage Designs prepares to open a new Chicago logistics and operations center in Q1 2027. Additionally, the company plans to launch Nuage Design Studios in Miami, Chicago, and New York. These studios will provide planners, designers, and their clients with a space to work through textures, colorways, and pairings in person, with Nuage’s client specialists guiding them toward their design goals as they bring together linens, furniture, and tabletop into a complete look before the event.
Holston’s priorities include enhancing the efficiency and speed of the ordering process, ensuring a consistent standard of quality and service across Miami, Chicago, and nationwide service areas. His expertise in strategy, operations, sales, marketing, and technology will be crucial as Nuage Designs continues to expand its services and offerings.
In his new role, Holston will lead strategy, operations, sales, marketing, and technology at Nuage Designs. He will report directly to President and CEO Pablo Oliveira. Holston holds a BS from Drexel University and an MBA in Operations Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
