NRD Cyber Security, a Lithuanian-owned cybersecurity consulting, services, and technology company, reported strong growth in the first half of 2026. Revenue for the period increased by 3.3 percent compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 6.2 million euros. The company's operational efficiency, as measured by normalised EBITDA, also saw a significant boost, increasing by 22 percent to 1.1 million euros.
This growth is attributed to the increasing demand for managed security services, particularly Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Security Operations Centre (SOC) services. According to Vilius Benetis, Director of NRD Cyber Security, the number of customers for these services is expected to double by the end of the year compared to the end of 2025. The NIS2 Directive, the maturing cybersecurity landscape, and the desire to become a reliable and reputable supplier are driving this demand.
NRD Cyber Security is also expanding its services beyond Lithuania. In the first half of 2026, the company launched a project for Moldova's energy sector, aiming to strengthen sectoral cyber resilience. The company's own-developed platform, Natrix, is being used in incident management units (CSIRT/SOC) of sector-specific regulators, enabling the provision of security monitoring services with a predictable and controllable cost model. This initiative is part of NRD Cyber Security's broader strategy to develop intellectual property for sector-specific value creation.
The company is also working on regional cyber capacity building in West Africa, collaborating with ECOWAS and WACREN. These projects aim to enhance information sharing and cybercrime prevention in the region. By leveraging its expertise and technology, NRD Cyber Security is positioning itself as a key player in the global cybersecurity landscape.
In summary, NRD Cyber Security's growth in the first half of 2026 reflects its strategic focus on managed security services and its commitment to enhancing cyber resilience across various sectors.
