North Arrow Identifies New Gold Occurrence at Kraaipan Project

North Arrow Minerals Inc. has announced the identification of a new gold-in-bedrock occurrence beneath Kalahari sand cover at Target AM within the Kraaipan Gold Project in southern Botswana. The discovery comes from the company’s recent Rotation 3 regional reconnaissance reverse circulation (RC) drilling, which also extended known gold mineralization 9 kilometers north of Target AE and 16 kilometers north of Target A.

Specifically, RC hole KR26-081, located on the western end of transect 8a within Target AM, intersected 32 meters of Kalahari cover before entering banded iron formation (BIF) and altered BIF, with evidence of quartz veining. Within this zone, the hole returned 0.21 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 5 meters. This discovery highlights the potential for gold mineralization beneath the Kalahari sand cover, which has masked the underlying geology at the Kraaipan Project.

The company has also initiated Rotation 4 RC drilling at Target AE, a planned 15-hole program designed to test the strike and down-dip continuity of the target across its interpreted 1,000-meter strike length. The primary goal is to confirm the potential of the mineralized package over this extensive area, which shares similarities with the BIF-hosted zones being mined at Harmony Gold’s Kalgold Mine, 40 kilometers to the south.

Eira Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of North Arrow, commented, "Rotation 3 drilling has extended known bedrock gold mineralization at Kraaipan a further 9 kilometers north of Target AE and 16 kilometers north of Target A, and has identified new target areas worthy of follow-up. Our priority remains Target AE, where drilling to date has delivered traceable zones of mineralization with widths and grades comparable to the BIF-hosted zones being mined at Harmony's Kalgold Mine."

The Kraaipan Gold Project spans approximately 724 square kilometers, covering the entire 60-kilometer northern extension of the Kraaipan Greenstone Belt, a highly prospective Archean greenstone terrain straddling the Botswana-South Africa border. Over 80% of the northern portion of the belt is covered by Kalahari overburden, which has seen limited past exploration. The project is a significant underexplored, gold-endowed system that represents the direct northern extension of the Kraaipan Greenstone Belt, hosting Harmony Gold’s multi-million-ounce Kalgold Mine.

The 2026 exploration program has been expanded to a total budget of US$2.86 million, an increase from the previously approved US$2.3 million, to accommodate the additional drilling at Targets AE and AF. The company’s integrated approach, combining interpretation of existing and new high-resolution geophysical data, new surface sampling, and RC drilling data, supports the thesis that the underexplored region has high potential to host a bulk tonnage, low-grade BIF-associated gold deposit.

Rotation 4 drilling is now underway, and the company anticipates results in the fourth quarter. Additionally, hyperspectral scanning of representative 2025 and 2026 RC drill chips and cuttings is scheduled to commence in mid-September, with results expected in later Q4/26. Surface prospecting, soil sampling, and ground geophysics will continue across the property, with a focus on the area south of Target A and additional prospecting in the main Target AE area and north of Target AF.
